Why do you move?
Movement has always been a way I take care of myself, something I have always loved to do since I was young. It grounds me, changes my mood, and also keeps my body strong and mobile.
What are you listening to?
I am currently listening to Sia and a lot of Pink.
What brought you to your mat?
Grief and wanting to feel a sense of community.
What’s inspiring you right now?
My friends doing the things they love, kind people, and my kids inspire me to have a sense of humor and not take myself so seriously.

Why do you move?
Honestly, I can’t imagine my life without it. It’s not another thing to do, and it’s not a chore - it’s what keeps me grounded, out of my head and it’s also where I find inspiration and creation.
What are you listening to?
EVERYTHING - but right now one of my daughter’s playlists. They both made us playlists that remind them of growing up, and currently on repeat is “Believe” by Cher.
What brought you to your mat?
Stress. What kept me there - my heart.
What’s inspiring you right now?
Honestly, the women in my life who are up to big things and making things happen. Watching women celebrate each other and move towards true oneness is my jam and I’m loving watching it unfold around me.

Why do you move?
I started dance classes when I was 3 years old and haven’t stopped moving since. Movement has been my life force, my homecoming, a space to connect to myself and the world, and to make sense of what doesn’t make sense. It helps me to build trust in my body, it helps me heal, and helps me to find my way home again and again.
What are you listening to?
Florence and the Machine (always), Stevie Nicks, Olivia Dean, Tracy Chapman, Lauryn Hill….the list goes on.
What brought you to your mat?
The stress of college and a big trauma I was experiencing at that time. In the 13+ years since, I’ve returned to my mat again and again to find a homecoming, expression, evolution, growth, friendship, spiritual grounding, and so much more.
What’s inspiring you right now?
My friends making big, bold moves in their lives - following their dreams unapologetically, having hard conversations, living lives they are proud of. It’s everything.

Why do you move?
Because I LOVE IT! Whether it's movement I find through dancing, on my mat, the gym, hiking trail, or on a walk, I feel the energy moving through my body. Moving my body makes me feel grounded, and I'm able to reconnect with myself in the midst of life's daily happenings.
What are you listening to?
Anything that nourishes my soul! I grew up in house where music was always playing. I listen to all genres but I'm currently listening to Cokito Deep, Depeche Mode, Mary Wells, Fleetwood Mac, Bomba Stereo, and soooo many more. It all depends on what my soul needs!!
What brought you to your mat?
Pain and grief. A desire to reconnect with myself. Through this journey, I was able to come home to myself, one breath at a time. I discovered that yoga is so much more than the physical practice.
What's inspiring you right now?
My beautiful family, being surrounded by friends that are authentic and watching them go for what they believe in, nature, the changing seasons, and the beauty of learning to embrace life as it unfolds.

Why do you move?
I move for internal freedom and liberation, I move to be with community, and I move to find connection with Divine.
What are you listening to?
(Sittin’ On) the Dock Of The Bay - Otis Redding, every single day. The song I play when I wake up in the morning, when anxiety is high, and when my head is working a little harder than my heart.
What brought you to your mat?
Growing up, I moved around a lot, and in my early teens, I developed pretty severe anxiety and depression. As a result, my parents placed me in Yoga classes. Yoga has been a part of my life ever since…experiencing how I grow with this practice, and it with me, has been the most beautiful part of my life.
What’s inspiring you right now?
The unwavering resilience, kindness, and generosity of marginalized and oppressed peoples. Every single day, in all aspects of life, they teach me courage, humility, and contentment.
